how ya doin, ya'll???? i'ma FINALLY update with a new entry! its only been...over a year and a half since my last one! 8D

SOOOO....for the two people who will read this (three? MAYBE THREE???) i'm in college and currently am hating my classes! w00t! XD

other than THAT, though, not much! i've been drawring and making stuff, but my motivation has essentially gone down the drain almost COMPLETELY. -_-; i carved a 3-tier pumpkin that i will eventually post up here...but i don't know when. 8|

and other than that, I'M FUCKING LOVING MY FANFICTIONS!!!!!! for everyone who doesn't understand or know the joy that can come from fan-fiction, i ask you not to judge me until you have read an entire, GOOD, thoroughly well written piece revolving around some form of relationship (seriously, what fanfiction ISN'T based on relationships? canon or otherwise). i guarantee you'll at least admit how some people can like it. THEY'RE JUST SO FUN TO READ!!!!

and the best are usually the ones over 100k words...the ones that you stumble upon late at night, and can't go to bed until you've finished reading them, and sometimes just pass out on the computer mid-sentence since you're body literally can't go any more to let you finish it...so you immediately re-start the moment you wake up and KEEP GOING minus food, water, sleep, or any other need.

on a side note, my ability to spell has pretty much gone to hell...i've been reading enough (typo-infected) fan-fiction and internet lingo to altogether mesh up mah ability to type/talk. ^///^

OH! and that's ANOTHER thing! my fangirlism is rearing its ugly, ferocious, "super-kawaii-desu-desu" head again -- in the form of AkuRoku and general Kingdom Hearts love!!!!! 8D

seriously. its about as bad as it was with Death Note. and that, if you know me irl, was really. really. BAD. I LOVED IT!!! XD its fun to have a fangirlism moment/phase here or there (or for months on end). good way to vent and a great focus for expelling boredom. *nods in approval*

problem with it is that, simply, ITS EXPENSIVE!!! i haven't splurged YET, but DAMMIT, i want to!!! D8 i could EASILY spend over 2k+ dollars, if not MORE, on merchandise and general fandom stuff...problem is, i really don't have anywhere to put anything since i'm sharing a room now, and don't really know anyone at school to congregate with and not feel like a weeaboo freak around to wear any memorabilia...sucks. T_T kyuu, kyuu...


but i was wondering this lately: why is yaoi such a popular thing with fangirls? why, EXACTLY, do we turn to it as our source of obsession? its quite strange, really...i guess we like the concept of two really hot anime guys hooking up and living happily ever after? i'm not so sure...its just a strange thing to me...is it like how guys are stereotyped as having that fantasy of watching two chicks make out? is it like that, only our girly version that general society doesn't ever really talk about? tis' a strange thing to think about...eh, either way, GOOD FANFICTION ABOUND!!! 8D

actually, slight lie. i'm having a touch time finding fictions up to par with my standards...they usually seem written well enough when i first start out, but then they like to take the story into a stupid direction that i don't care for, or jump almost IMMEDIATELY into some stupid PWP...and, yeah, who doesn't like a PWP every now and then, but if its a 100k story, i better only be seeing a scene like that in the damn middle of the thing in a practical, actually ADDS to the story-line way...something of a random moment that can easily be skipped over and the story makes perfect sense, but its just fun to read about the icing on the cake. but by the story makes perfect sense without it, i mean like...the sentence, "and they closed the door so no one could see." being a prelude to the event would essentially lead to the next scene. we need not know what's behind the door.

ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE STILL UNDER 18, YOU DIRTY MINDED PEOPLE I KNOW!!! D:<

well, i'ma go get back to my sleuthing through pages and pages of poorly written fanfiction to try and come up with some magical gem or two to entertain myself with. after all, the hunt is half the game! but the prey is always the ultimate reward...*evil glint in eye*
